This is what I ate:
Breakfast (7:30am)
I started the day with coffee and scrambled eggs with spinach and cheese topped with bacon.
Lunch (11:00am)
A quick lunch of roasted asparagus before my class.
Dinner (7:30pm)
A birthday party at Slater’s 50/50 for my friend Mickey. We started with a Peanut Butter and Chocolate Shake with four straws (less guilt). π Next we had the Vampire Dip, made of roasted garlic, artichoke and cheese served in a bread bowl with fried pita chips. The dip was everyone’s favorite by far!!! I had the cheeseburger Salad, which I really liked. We finished withΒ a Brownie Sundae for the birthday girl but we all had some. The brownie had bacon on top, not really my cup of tea but it was interesting to try.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope your day was full of healthy meals!

That dessert looks incredible. And I love the four straws shake too π
Thanks! π
That brownie sundae looks like my kind of dessert!
Thank you, it was very rich.
Yum to that brownie sundae! I’m not sure about the bacon though…
But I would love to take a bite of that bunless cheeseburger! Looks so juicy.
I was not to keen on the bacon but it was fun to try. The cheeseburger was really good.
Wow your breakfast looks amazing! Looks like a fun restaurant, burger salad is a great idea, I always ending up leaving the bun anyway. I love asparagus, but I’ve never roasted it, do you just put it in the oven with some oil?
Thank you! π It was a fun restaurant, it was my first time there. Yes, I just put a little olive oil on the asparagus and sea salt and fresh ground pepper. These should have been removed from the oven just a little early, they are a lot thinner than most if the asparagus I find. Oh well, they still tasted good.
Yummm that brownie obviously looks super good, but so does the asparagus!
Thanks, I think so too. π
That’s the skinniest asparagus I have ever seen! The birthday dinner looked super yummy!
I know, I think they got a little over cooked because they are so thin and I did not take that into account. Thank you, it was good. π
Oh wow that brownie looks unreal!!! Drool!
It was very different. π
The bacon and brownie combo sounds delicious (weirdly enough). May have to try that out one day π
It was different and very rich. π
Mmmm I love salty & sweet together – I had a caramel bacon sandae once that was unreal! Happy WIAW π
I do love sweet and salty together too. π
Love the 4 straws in the shakeβadorable and practical! I’ve never tried bacon & brownie together, but it sounds great!
We love sweets but we don’t want a whole shake. This way we get enough to taste it. π
OH my goodness I’m dying with all these pictures! They look so scrumptious! Happy Wednesday!
Thank you! Happy Wednesday to you too. π
Wow, everything looks just incredible! I love chocolate (no PB for me!) shakes! At what temperature do you roast the asparagus? It looks delicious.
Thank you! I roast the asparagus at about 350 degrees with olive oil, sea salt and fresh ground pepper. π
The brownie looks crazy delicious!
It was good and super rich. π
My kind of breakfast!! And dessert for that matter!!
