Hello Everyone. Happy What I Ate Wednesday! I am sharing my meals from last Saturday. This Saturday, my husband and I went to the Cleopatra exhibit at the California Science Center with a group of friends. We were able to try a new restaurant too. Thank you to Jenn at Peas and Crayons for hosting the WIAW.
This is what I ate:
Breakfast (7:00am)
I started the day with coffee and a power crunch protein bar.
Cleopatra: The Exhibition at the California Science Center.
Lunch (1:30pm)
At the Daily Dose in downtown Los Angeles, I had a wonderful latte with a ham and cheese sandwich called The Taylor and finished with a chocolate chip cookie.
Rosanne and Augie
Mickey
Dinner (6:00pm)
Quick tofu tacos from Wahoos.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope your day was full of healthy meals!

I love spending time at museums during the weekends. Here in Germany stores aren’t open on Sundays so there’s not much else to do than either stay at home, do stuff outdoors or go to museums.
Those dinner tacos look wonderful. Tacos is definitely one of my favorite foods to have! Also, I love when they put a lot of effort into adding the milk foam in cool shapes. Makes a great drinking experience.

What a nice way to spend Sundays! These tacos are really good, I like the way they flavor the tofu. I agree coffee always tastes better when it is pretty too. 🙂

The Cleopatra exhibit sounds fascinating. Glad you could take photos, so many times they don’t let you at those types of things. Tofu tacos? Yum…

I know, they encouraged photos as long as you did not use a flash. It was very crowded, so my photos were rushed. 🙂 The tofu tacos are so tasty, they marinate the tofu and it has such a good flavor.

That museum looks great. I love exploring galleries and museums- you can get lost in them for hours!

It was. I can too. 🙂

That exhibit looks awesome! I’m going to have to check my Science Center and see if we’re getting it.
I love how pretty your coffee picture looks in the morning. Makes me want to drink some coffee.

If you get the chance to see this exhibit, do. 🙂
Thank you!

That’s too funny. My dad and I were just talking about Cleopatra last night on the way home from college. We got on the topic because there was just a commercial on for Lindsday Lohan’s new movie portraying Elizabeth Taylor (who was in the movie Cleopatra… Haha). Anyways, we were talking about how we didn’t know what to believe anymore of the stories of Cleopatra, because there are so many. Did you learn anything new at the exhibit?
Happy Thanksgiving!

From the photos alone, that exhibit looks great! I hope I can get out for that sometime or that something similar will come here. I love going to museums!
I’m not a latte drinker but that gorgeous mug just might convince me otherwise!

I am always up by the California Science Center because my family are big USC fans, but sadly have never made it to the Cleopatra Exhibit! Did you have a chance to watch any of the educational videos in the IMAX theatre?!?! Nerd alert, but I freaking love those movies! The Daily Dose looks divine! I must visit next time I’m in LA 🙂
